About Us
Little Owls Bilingual STEAM Learning is a DCYF-licensed bilingual home daycare in the Renton Highlands near Bellevue and Newcastle, serving children ages 2–6. We offer English–Mandarin immersion and a play-based STEAM curriculum that builds early literacy, math, and social-emotional skills. Our small class size ensures personalized care from an experienced M.Ed educator and a PhD scientist. We help children grow with confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

With a Master’s in Education, Taiwan OCAC Mandarin Teacher Certified, and years of experience teaching Mandarin and bilingual preschool, Ms. Fuyen brings creativity and expertise to every lesson. A former social worker and sign language interpreter, and a mom of two, she blends compassion, innovation, and hands-on learning to create a truly enriching environment.

STEAM Advisor
​A real-world scientist with a PhD blending expertise in AI and genomics to ensure scientific accuracy in every learning experience. Passionate about STEAM for kids, patient and detail-oriented in fostering curiosity through hands-on projects. Also an artist who paints and plays music, bringing creativity and balance to a science-driven approach.
